Red carpet rule book

For me, style is about re-invention. It's about experimentation while being comfortable and allowing your make-up and clothes to bring out the best in you. Over the years, my red carpet style has had two constants: the right lip colour and the right pair of shoes. This season, I'm going for plum lips!

Favourite lip looks for day and night

I like to keep it soft and subtle during the day, and go ahead with a light lip colour like peach. In the evenings, however, I like to experiment with bolder shades like reds and pinks.

Smoky eyes or ruby lips?

Red lips in matte texture. For my eyes, just a little kohl is enough. Unarguably, my eyes and lips are my favourite feature.

Lip-care routine

I make sure that my lips are always moisturised, either with a good lip balm or lip colours that are replete with moisturising properties.

First lipstick experience

I have been obsessed with my mom's make-up kit ever since I can remember. I have countless memories of standing in front of the mirror in her room and trying out everything she had. But my most special experience was when she bought me my first lipstick – something that was only mine. It was a gorgeous shade of baby pink and I loved it!
